Upon successful completion of the course, you'll earn the official SSI Dive Guide certification. This credential allows you to work professionally, leading certified divers on guided underwater tours around the world. It is also the foundational prerequisite for further professional-level pathways, such as the SSI Divemaster or Instructor programs.

Important Enrollment Notes:
• Medical Clearing: In order to participate, you will need a current RSTC medical history form (which may require a physician's sign-off). This form is accessible within your online Scuba Schools International profile or directly at our facility. Please review the medical questionnaire prior to course registration.
• Refund Policy: Course fees are non-refundable once digital learning materials and registrations have been officially issued.
• Career Placement: While professional certification opens up worldwide opportunities, employment at Oceanwide Outfitters is not guaranteed.

How the Training Works
- Digital Learning & Academics: Study the professional leadership modules anytime, anywhere at your own convenience via the MySSI digital platform. Oceanwide Outfitters will schedule your structured classroom reviews and dive planning workshops.
- In-Water Training: During your pool/confined water sessions and supervised open water dives across Arizona's top training locations, an experienced SSI Instructor will mentor you in group control and rescue scenarios until you are fully comfortable.
- Certification: Once you have completed all required academic reviews, pool skills, final exams, and evaluation dives, your digital SSI Dive Guide Specialty card will go live instantly on your MySSI App.

- Maximum Training Depth: 40 meters / 130 feet
- Suggested Duration: 35 to 45 hours
- Certification Prerequisites: Minimum of 40 logged open water dives (totaling 25 hours or more of dive time) prior to beginning the course.
